Funeral Services for Mona Marguerite Wilde, age 90 of Lake Livingston will be held at 10:00 AM on Tuesday, May 22, 2012 at the Cochran Funeral Home in Onalaska with David Johnson officiating. Pallbearers will be Calvin Small, Earl Carroll, Tom Curran, Robert Harrison, Tom Youngblood, and Dan Hayes. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the charity of your choice.

Graveside services and interment will take place in the Milbank Cemetery in Milbank, South Dakota on Saturday, May 26, 2012 at 10:00 AM with Mundwiler Funeral Home in charge of those local services.

Mona was born on July 5, 1921 in Sioux Falls, South Dakota the daughter of the late Tore A Belgum and Nona Belle (Mann) Belgum. She graduated class of 1939 from Carona Highschool in South Dakota and later that year married the love of her life, Robert Wilde. In 1958, they moved to Rapid City, South Dakota and opened up the Model Motel and managed it successfully until they retired. Upon retirement in 1972, Mona and Robert moved to Houston, Texas and later in 1987 they moved again to Lake Livingston.

She passed away on May 18, 2012 in Huntsville, Texas and is preceded in death by her parents, Tore and Nona Belgum and her husband, Robert F. Wilde.

Mona is survived by her sons, Joel M. Wilde and Roger D. Wilde, both, of Livingston, Texas; a grandson, Hugh Donald Wilde of Houston, Texas; two great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren and numerous other relatives and friends also survive.
