OBIT for Monroe Milton Hebert
Monroe Milton Hebert, age 92 of Livingston, TX passed away on March 16, 2012 in Livingston. He was born on July 7, 1919 in Colfax, LA to parents James Hebert and Georgia Honeycutt Hebert. Mr. Hebert served in the US Army during World War II and was in the ""D"" Day Invasion of Normandy, France. He was a member of the Trinity Lodge #14 AF & AM and had just received his 65 year pin and a member of First United Methodist Church in Livingston.
Mr. Hebert is preceded in death by his parents, James and Georgia Honeycutt and his first wife, Eva Hebert. He is survived by Pat Hebert, wife of Livingston, two sisters, Viola Dudonis of Houston, TX and Lou Birdie Beaty of Anderson, TX, and two brothers, Charles Hebert of Baytown, TX and James Hebert of Austin, TX; son and daughter-in-law, Dale and Jenni Cauthen of Katy, TX; two grandsons, Jake Cauthen and Brodie Cauthen; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM on Saturday, March 24, 2012 at First United Methodist Church in Livingston, TX. Dr. Don Willis and Rev. James Frazier will conduct the services. Pallbearers are Dale Cauthen, Joe Baxley, David Hebert, Bob Kilgore, Don Maxwell and Glenn Cornelius. Honorary pallbearers are Bob Campbell, Jerry Hawkins, Paul Woodworth, Jack Jackson, James Rosser and the Friendship Sunday School Class of First United Methodist Church. Interment will follow church service at Forest Hill Cemetery and will be under the auspices of Trinity Lodge #14 AF & AM.
