Funeral services for Morris Williams, 79, of Onalaska, Texas will be held Monday, September 24, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. in the Cochran Funeral Home Chapel in Onalaska, Texas with Gary Bodine officiating. Interment will follow in the Magnolia Cemetery in Onalaska, Texas. Visitation will be held Monday, September 24, 2018 beginning at 10:00 a.m. until the service begins at 11:00 a.m.

Mr. Williams was born on May 23, 1939 in Wells, Texas to parents, Byron Williams and Jewel (Todd) Williams, and passed away September 21, 2018 in Onalaska, Texas. He is preceded in death by his parents.

He is survived by his son, David Wade Williams and wife, Marsha of New Caney, Texas; daughter, Laurie Diane Williams Beckner and husband, Dion of Huffman, Texas; son, Randall Karl Williams and wife, Arlette of Hankamer, Texas; son, Norman G. Hunter and wife, Adriane of Huntsville, Texas; ex-spouse and best friend, Annette Williams of Onalaska, Texas; twin sister, Doris Cook of Livingston, Texas; grandchildren, Amanda Jo Slack and husband, Jim, Ashley Williams, Tyler Dion Beckner, Shelbi Lauren O'Connor and husband, Lane, Bryan Joseph Williams, Jonathan G. Hunter, and Grace Elizabeth Hunter; and 5 great-grandchildren; along with numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
