Myra Carolyn Divison Nixon's Obituary
Myra Carolyn Davison Nixon, 95, passed away peacefully on January 18, 2017 in Lake Charles, Louisiana. Carolyn was born February 16, 1921 to Nora Beatrice Leggett Davison and Samuel Miller Davison.
She was married to Garth Henry Nixon (Deceased) and is survived by her two sons Garth (David) Nixon, wife Paula and Mark Stephen Nixon, wife Norma. She also leaves behind five grandchildren - Hillary, Lauren, Dustin, Jameson, and Brooke Nixon. Carolyn was a member of First United Methodist Church and the D.A.R.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, daughter, Kay Lynn Nixon, and two sisters Helen Watts and Sammy Hope.
A memorial service will be held at Forest Hills Cemetery on April 1, 2017 at 1:00PM.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Salvation Army.
