Funeral services for Myrtle Taylor Richards, 89, of Livingston, Texas will be held Sunday, February 15, 2026, at 2:00 p.m., at the Cochran Funeral Home Chapel in Livingston, Texas with Bro. Byron Lyons officiating. Interment will follow at the Holly Grove Cemetery in Livingston, Texas. Visitation will be held on the day of service, from 1:00-2:00 p.m., at the funeral home.

Myrtle was born November 24, 1936, in Milano, Texas and passed away February 10, 2026, in Shepherd, Texas. She was preceded in death by her parents, J. H. Beavers and Antonia Lorenz Beavers; first husband, C. C. Taylor; second husband, John Richards; son, Dickie Charles Taylor; 2 grandchildren; and siblings, Joanne Jackson, Virginia Davis, John Beavers, and Juanita Brashear.

She is survived by her son, Ricky Taylor and wife Dana; grandson, Jake Taylor and wife Kylie; granddaughter, Hannah Taylor and fiancé Cooper Dolmage; great grandchildren, Anderson Taylor and Evelyn Taylor; and stepchildren, LeAnne Cain and husband Virgil and their children Vernon and Paige, Joe Van Richards and wife Samantha, and John D. Richards and wife Ginny and their children Colby and Samantha; sister, Janice Jannett; and sister-in-law, Peggy Beavers; along with numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
