Funeral services for Naomi Elaine Stephens, 88, of Madisonville, Texas, will be held Friday, August 26, 2022, at 10:00 a.m., in the Cochran Funeral Home Chapel in Livingston, Texas with Bro. Steve Martin officiating. Interment will follow in the Old Big Creek Cemetery in Shepherd, Texas. Visitation will be held Thursday, August 25, 2022, from 5:00 - 8:00 p.m., in the Cochran Funeral Home in Livingston, Texas.

Ms. Stephens was born February 3, 1934 in Houston, Texas and passed away August 21, 2022 in Madisonville, Texas. She is preceded in death by her parents, Virgil H. Nichols and Katie (Gardner) Nichols; brother, Forest "Buddy" Nichols; and son, Ricky Ward.

She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Don and Mary Stary of Spicewood, Texas; son and daughter-in-law, D.P. and Elaine Ward of Shepherd, Texas; daughter, Susan Kinser of Plano, Texas; son, Steven Ward Sr. of Shepherd, Texas; son and daughter-in-law, Marty and Liddie Stephens of Coldspring, Texas; grandchildren, Martin Stary, Amy Reeves, Sarah Garrett, Steven Ward Jr., Heather Randall, Rachel Kinser, Brooke Kinser, and Chase Stephens; great grandchildren, Kaylee, Marshall, Brady, Easton, Emily, Gavin, Whitley, Brock, Lux, Nyx, Kensley, and Maddox; and brother, Mike Nichols of Shepherd, Texas; along with numerous friends and extended family.
