Obituary
Funeral services for Nathan L. "Butch" Burts, Jr., 72, of Livingston, Texas, will be held Friday, June 19, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. in the Cochran Funeral Home Chapel in Livingston, Texas with Bro. Jeremy Allen officiating. Military Honors will be provided by VFW Post #8568 Honor Guard. Interment will follow in the Peebles Cemetery in Livingston, Texas. Visitation will be held Thursday, June 18, 2015 beginning at 5:00 p.m. at Cochran Funeral Home in Livingston, Texas.
Mr. Burts was born December 6, 1942 in Des Arc, Arkansas to parents, Nathan L. Burts, Sr. and Essie Mae (Blessingame) Burts, and passed away June 14, 2015 in Livingston, Texas. During his life, he was a friend of Bill W. for 30 years. He is preceded in death by his parents.
He is survived by his wife, Patricia Wall Burts of Livingston, Texas; sons, Brian Burts of Jacksonville, Florida and Robert Woodrome of The Woodlands, Texas; adopted daughter, Sabriana Bowman of Houston, Texas; granddaughter, Samantha Burts of Jacksonville, Florida; grandson, Creed Bowman of Houston, Texas; granddaughters, Casey Bowan and Gracie Bowman both of Houston, Texas; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, John and Debbie Wall of Lufkin, Texas; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Theresa and John Ruddick of Alvod, Texas; sister-in-law, Carolyn Shiffer of Chester, Texas; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, James and Lorene Wall of Chicago, Illinois; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Julie and Darrell Wall of Lufkin, Texas; special friends, Kelly and William Nelson of Goodrich, Texas; along with numerous other family and friends.
