Funeral services for Neal Alfred Smith, 89, of Onalaska, Texas, will be held Thursday, April 5, 2018 at 12:00 p.m. in the St. Ignatius Loyla Church in Spring, Texas. Interment will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 5, 2018 in the Houston National Cemetery in Houston, Texas. Visitation will be held from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 4, 2018 in the Cochran Funeral Home in Livingston, Texas.

Mr. Smith was born September 3, 1928 in Houston, Texas, to parents, Neal Smith and Minnie (Lord) Smith and passed away March 29, 2018 in Onalaska, Texas. He is preceded in death by his parents.

He is survived by his wife, Helen J. Smith of Onalaska, Texas; son, Michael R. Smith and wife, Melanie Smith of Montgomery, Texas; son, Bobby N. Smith and wife Debbie Smith of Spring, Texas; daughter, Sandy L. Wehmeyer and husband Terry Wehmeyer of Trinity, Texas; son, Tim P. Smith of Onalaska, Texas; son, Scott A. Smith and wife Liz Smith of Spring, Texas; sister, Mary Johnson of Houston, Texas; grandson, Brandon M. Smith of Spring, Texas; step-grandson, Donnie Gonsoulin of Spring, Texas; granddaughter, Kara E. Smith of Spring, Texas; grandson, Austin R. Smith of Spring, Texas; grandson, Derek A. Wehmeyer of Spring, Texas; granddaughter, Taylor L. Wehmeyer of San Antonio, Texas; granddaughter, Reagan A. Smith of Spring, Texas; granddaughter, Reese C.
