Obit for Nelda Fay Scroggins
Memorial Services for Nelda Fay Scroggins, age 62, of Onalaska, Texas, will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, May 10, 2012 at Cochran Funeral Home Chapel in Livingston, Texas with Rev. Dicky Boddie officiating. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Bethel Baptist Church 8815 FM 350 N, Livingston, TX 77351 in the name of Nelda Scroggins.
She was born on February 4, 1950, to parents, Roy Thomas Atkerson and Lela Elizabeth Baxter Atkerson in Livingston and passed away on May 7, 2012 at her home in Onalaska, Texas. Nelda is preceded in death by her parents, Roy and ""Sister"" Atkerson and her grandparents, Claude and Ada Baxter. She is survived by her husband, Joe Scroggins; son, Lamar Guy; daughter and son-in-law, Tammy and Billy Seiter; sister and brother-in-law, Betty Irene Proctor and Tony; grandchildren, Chance Seiter, Cole Seiter, Carli Seiter, Taylor Guy, Jordan Guy, and Jered Guy; extended family, Burl Baxter, Alice Howell, and Alford Baxter. Numerous other relatives and friends also survive.
