Obituary
Funeral services for Nellie Lee Tucker, 74, of Goodrich, Texas will be held Thursday, September 17, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. in the Cochran Funeral Home in Livingston, Texas with Pastor Luther Bookman officiating. Interment will follow in the Victory Place Cemetery in Livingston, Texas. Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until service begins.
Ms. Tucker was born May 3, 1941 in Goodrich, Texas to parents, John Tucker and Velma (Wright) Tucker, and passed away September 10, 2015 in Goodrich, Texas. During her life, Nellie worked as a nurse at Memorial Northwest Hospital in Houston. She also worked in the cafeteria for Goodrich Independent School District. She is preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Charles Edward Tucker and Leo Tucker; and sister, Eddie Lee Murray Foster.
She is survived by her sister and brother-in-law, Flossie and Leonard McGowen, Sr; sister and brother-in-law, Vivian and Frankie Henry; sister, Ethel Cunningham; sister and brother-in-law, Wanda and Curtis Jones; brother, Cleo Tucker; along with numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
