Neva Jo McGwier 83 of Livingston passed away Friday October 24, 2008. A memorial service will be held Sunday October 26, 2008 at 2:00PM at the Matthews Street Park in Livingston.

Neva was born June 13, 1925 in Lawton, Oklahoma to parents William Henry Payton and Nilie Mae Barker Payton. She loved going to yard sales, flea markets and auctions.

She is preceded in death by her parents, husband Arnold Lee McGwier, son Earl Wayne McGwier and grandchildren Denny, Danny, Donnie McGwier, sisters Allie Payton, Lennie Marie Wade and brothers Alton Vae and Charles Ferrington.

Neva is survived her children Billy McGwier and wife Suzanne of Livingston, Donald McGwier and wife Jennie of Onlaska, Rita McDaniel and husband Benny of Shephard, and Anita Ferris and husband Daniel of Livingston, sister Nell Lee of Bakersville, CA.. She is also survived by her grandchildren David and Lisa McGwier, Jerry Dale and Karen McGwier, Stephanie Munk, Daryl McGwier, Dustin McGwier, Amber and Bruce Owens, Christopher Silva, Jason McGwier, Dawna McGwier, Daniel McDaniel, Benjamin and Amber McDaniel, Patrick and Barbara Priest, Christine Ferris, Anthony McAdams and Darrin McGwier, great grandchildren Heather, Stacy, David Lee, Kevin, Little Billy, Kerrie, Christian, Chelsey, Madison, Bradley, Cecilia, Olivia, Jessica, Dakota, Trenton, Arnold, and Kyleigh.

Cochran Funeral Home was in charge of all arrangements.
