Mr. Nicholas George Koutroulis, 86, of Livingston, Texas was born on April 25, 1932 in Greece to parents, George Koutroulis and Julia (Efthymiadis) Koutroulis and passed away June 3, 2018 in Livingston, Texas. He is preceded in death by his parents; and brother, Aris Koutroulis.

My Dad (Nicholas) immigrated from Greece when he was a teenager, not knowing a word of English. He lived w/ relatives in NY, taught himself English, served in Korea & put himself through college. My Dad made a big success in the business world, employing a LOT of people but more importantly he was a big success as an accepting, loving, caring human being.  Today at 86 cancer took him. He was married to my loving Mom for almost 62 faithful years. Where ever you are right now Dad, know that we love you.

He is survived by his wife, Margaret Overhutz Koutroulis of Livingston, Texas; daughter, Julia Koutroulis Davis of Spring, Texas; son, Nicholas Koutroulis and wife, Cristina of Tomball, Texas; son, David Koutroulis of Seattle, Washington; granddaughter, Kathline Lindsey and husband, Devin of Cypress, Texas; grandson, Nicholas Koutroulis and wife, Chelsea of Houston, Texas; granddaughter, Christina Koutroulis Cox and husband, Ben of Houston, Texas; great-grandchildren, Alec Lindsey, Madison Lindsey, Austin Cox, and Noah Cox; sister, Katherine Catale of Locust Grove, Georgia; and cousin, Kris Adis of Chicago, Illinois; along with numerous other relatives and friends.
