A memorial service to Noel Grover Nelson, 72, of Onalaska, Texas, will be held at 2:00 PM, Saturday, February 1, 2014 at Cochran Funeral Home in Onalaska, Texas with Rev. Don Wilkey officiating.
Noel was born on January 15 1942 in Mena, Arkansas and passed away on January 29, 2014 in Livingston, Texas. He worked as a Correctional Officer for TDCJ. He is preceded in death by his parents, Swede and Greta Nelson.
He is survived by his wife, Marilyn Nelson of Onalaska, Texas; daughter, Kay Kantowski; son, Kevin Nelson; son, Kenneth Nelson; step-daughter, Sheila Robitaille; step-son, Mark Gragg; grandchildren, Alia Robitaille, Alyssa Gragg, Tyler Gragg, Tanner Gragg, Kayleigh Kantowski, Kendall Kantowski, and Zachary Nelson; along with numerous other relatives and friends.
