Funeral services for Norma Collum, 89, of Livingston, Texas, will be held at 2:00 p.m., Monday, September 16, 2019 in the Cochran Funeral Home Chapel in Livingston, Texas with Rev. Royce Pennington officiating. Interment will follow in the Forest Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. until the service begins Monday, September 16th.

Mrs. Collum was born February 18, 1930 in Seminole, Oklahoma to parents, Harlin Pruitt and Neaty (Pack) Pruitt, and passed away September 13, 2019 in Lufkin, Texas. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband of 60 years, R.B. Collum; sister, Wilma Hamilton; and brothers, Ralph Pruitt and Orville Pruitt. During her life, Ms. Norma along with her husband RB, were the founding owners of RB's lake grocery.  It was an institution in the community to gather goods, supplies, and just visit with friends.

She was devoted to her church with a profound love for all the members and their notable causes.  As a charter member of the first Baptist Church in Blanchard for over 30 years, she made her mark.  One of her favorites was the fact they had the opportunity to donate the chapel bell in the honor of their Lord Jesus Christ.  She had much love for her family, friends, and community.  She was dearly loved by all she knew, and she will forever be missed.

She is survived by her daughters, Quanah Clark and husband, Jerry of Lufkin, and Deborah Ainsworth and husband, Michael of Porter; son, Richard Collum Jr. and wife, Jackie of Blanchard; granddaughters, Angie O'Brien, Melinda Wynn, Melissa Curtin, Autumn Hendrickson and Cathy Dobbs; grandson, Chad Clark; great-granddaughters, Brooke O'Brien, Faith Wynn, Sloane Curtin, Summer Hendrickson, Hope Hendrickson, Tabitha Shelton, and Meagan Dobbs; and great-grandsons, Blake O'Brien, Christian Wynn; Adam Wynn, Liam Curtin, Koda Curtin, and Dakota Clark; along with numerous other relatives and friends.
