Funeral services for Norma Jean Hancock, 86, of Livingston, Texas, will be held Sunday, August 16, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. in the Cochran Funeral Home in Livingston, Texas with Bro. Joe Henry Smith officiating. Interment will follow in the Peebles Cemetery. Visitation will  be held from 12:00 - 2:00 p.m., before the service begins, in the funeral home.

Mrs. Hancock was born November 2, 1933 in Goodrich, Texas to parents, Rafe Henry Smith and Lula Lavera (Henderson) Smith, and passed away August 14, 2020 in Livingston, Texas. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Dallas Hancock; daughter, Linda Gail Kowis; and son, Michael Eugene Bunting.

She is survived by her daughter, Lavera June Morton and husband, Glen of New Caney; 7 grandchildren; and 9 great-grandchildren; along with numerous other relatives and friends.

Norma Hancock will be escorted to her grave by pallbearers Robert Smith, Raymond Smith, Buddy Smith, John Kowis, Justin Kowis and Johnny Kowis
