Memorial services for Norma Jean James, 71, of Porter, Texas, will be held Saturday, January 12, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. in the Cochran Funeral Home Chapel in Livingston, Texas with Rev. Harold Isaacs officiating.

Mrs. James was born February 22, 1947 in Houston, Texas to parents, Homer W. Nesmith Sr. and Mary (Jasso) Nesmith, and passed away December 12, 2018 in Kingwood, Texas. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Clyde James Sr.; son, Clyde James Jr.; daughter, Mary James; brothers, John Lee Nesmith and Melvin Elliott Nesmith.

She is survived by her son, Hank James of Porter, Texas; brother, Homer Walter Nesmith and wife, Sharon of Houston, Texas; along with numerous grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
