Obituary
Funeral services for Norma Jean Platt, 84, of Livingston, Texas, will be held Saturday, January 10, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. in the Cochran Funeral Home Chapel in Livingston, Texas with Bro. Orval Barger officiating. Interment will follow in the Mt. Rose Cemetery in Livingston, Texas. Visitation will be held Friday, January 9, 2015 from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. in Cochran Funeral Home in Livingston, Texas.
Mrs. Platt was born March 15, 1930 in Livingston, Texas to parents, John Henry Richardson and Arrie (Wiggins) Richardson, and passed away January 7, 2015 in Livingston, Texas. She is preceded in death by her husband, Morris Platt Sr.; parents; brothers, John Richardson and Charles Richardson; sister, Blanche Bailey.
She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Linda and Gary Lawrence of Abilene, Texas; son, Morris and Sherry Platt Jr. of Livingston, Texas; granddaughters, Mitzi Holliman and Jeff of Livingston, Texas, Erin Zamperin and Andrew of Lewisville, Texas, Leah Edgar and Dustin of Livingston, Texas; grandsons, Toby Lawrence and Kelli of Krum, Texas, Jesse and Stacey Platt of Corrigan, Texas; great grandchildren, Justin Holliman, Abbey Lawrence, Emily Holliman, Addi Platt, Hunter Lawrence, Levi Platt, Maicyn Edgar; brother, Winford Richardson and Brandy of Point Blank, Texas; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
