Funeral services for Palmer Huston Davis age 82 of Livingston, Texas will be held Friday December 10, 2010 in the chapel of Cochran Funeral Home in Livingston with Cecil Jordan officiating an interment will follow in the Farley Chapel cemetery in Shepherd, Texas. Pallbearers will be Kenneth Hudson, Donald Hudson and Josh Davis. He was a member of the Shepherd Masonic Lodge #866, the Shepherd Eastern Star Chapter #4003, and was an Arabian Temple Shriner.

He was born July 31, 1928 in Catalpa, Arkansas the son of Milton & Gertie Mooney Davis and passed away December 7, 2010 at his home in Livingston. He is preceded in death by his parents, his sister Nita Martin and great granddaughter Sarah Frazar.

He is survived by Norma Davis, wife of Rye, Texas, Sharron & Larry Morrow, daughter & son in law of Rye, Texas, Charlotte & Robert Hudson, daughter & son in law of Humble, Texas, Pam Davis, daughter of Rye, Texas, Kenneth Hudson, grandson of Cypress, Texas, Donald Hudson, grandson of Spring, Texas, Stephanie Frazar, granddaughter of Rye, Texas, Josh Davis, grandson of Rye, Texas, and 13 great grandchildren also survive.
