Memorial Services for Patsy Jean Thompson, age 79, of Livingston, will be held Saturday, February 4, 2012 at 11:00 A.M. at the First United Methodist Church in Livingston.

She was born on June 21, 1932 in Lubbock, Texas to Parents, Cecil Rufus Williams and Zelma Ruby (Thrush) Williams and passed away on January 27, 2012, in Livingston.

Patsy attended College at Texas Tech University in Lubbock where she received her Bachelors Science Degree. She continued her studies at Prairie View A&M and got her Master' Degree. On October 13, 1955 she married her husband, Vernon Thompson. She was employed as a High School Mathematic teacher and worked for the Goose Creek Independent School District for 35 Years.

She is preceded in death by her Parents, Cecil Rufus Williams and Zelma Ruby (Thrush) Williams; Husband of 52 Years, Vernon Thompson; and Grandson, Blane Thompson.

Patsy is survived by her Son and Daughter-In-Law, Mark and Cathen Thompson of Keller, Texas; Daughter and Son-In-Law, Lesli and Rick Ward of Jacksonville, Florida; Son and Daughter-In-Law, Chris and Carol Thompson of Rockwall, Texas; Grandson, Christopher Thompson of Dallas, Texas; Grandson, Sean Thompson of Sherwood, Arkansas; Grandson, Patrick Thompson of Rockwall, Texas; Grandson, Todd Thompson of Jacksonville, Florida; Granddaughter, Katherine Thompson of Sherwood, Arkansas; Grandson, Chase Ward of Jacksonville, Florida; and Grandson, Matthew Thompson of Sherwood, Arkansas. Numerous Other Relatives and friends also survive.
