Funeral services for Patsy Ruth Thompson age 80, of Moscow, Texas, will be held at 2:00 PM., Sunday, November 27, 2011, at Cochran Funeral Home Chapel in Livingston, Texas. Bro. David Acox will officiate the service. Interment will be at Holhausen-Darby Cemetery in Moscow. Pallbearers will be Ramsey Thompson, Chris Thompson, Robby Thompson, Aaron Thompson, David Hopson and Michael Hopson. Honorary pallbearers will be Eric Thompson, Roy Hopson, Brady Hooker and Kenneth Blalock. She was born on May 2, 1931, in Oakdale, Texas, to parents, Brodie Hill Jones and Notie Bond Jones. She passed away on November 23, 2011, in Moscow.

Mrs. Thompson is preceded in death by her parents, brother, James Howard, brother-in-law, Willis Rice, nephews, Corry Howard Jones and Billy Mark Jones. She is survived by her husband, Robin Thompson of Moscow, Texas, three sons and daughters-in-law, Pat and Kathy Thompson, of Corpus Christi, Texas, Charles Thompson and Dr. JoAnne Malina Thompson of Montrose, New York, Ronnie and Sheri Thompson of Moscow, Texas, daughter and son-in-law, Tammy and M.H. Hopson of Moscow, Texas, sister, Sible Rice of Moscow, Texas, three brothers and sisters-in-law, Billy Jack and Cora Lee Jones of Livingston, Texas, Corry and Joyce Jones of Moscow, Texas, Dr. Alvin and Anna Mae Jones of Huntsville, Texas, thirteen grandchildren, Stacey Hooker, Ramsey Thompson, Becky Eger, Michael Hopson, Aaron Thompson, Chris Thompson, David Hopson, Robby Thompson, Tabitha Hopson, Roy Hopson, Zaneta Thompson, Krystyn Thompson and Eric Thompson, and sixteen great grandchildren.
