Funeral services for Paul Richard Desbiens, 70, of Sargent, Texas will be held Monday, August 4, 2025, at 10:00 a.m., at the Cochran Funeral Home Chapel in Livingston, Texas with Bro. Sean Ferry officiating. Interment will follow at Forest Hill Cemetery in Livingston, Texas. Visitation will take place Sunday, August 3, 2025, from 5:00-7:00 p.m., at the funeral home.

Paul was born July 2, 1955 in Washington D.C and passed away July 28, 2025 in Houston, Texas. He was preceded in death by his wife, Nancy Desbiens; parents, Wilford Desbiens and Lilly Ann (Dale) Desbiens; daughter, Joycelyn Desbiens; grandson, Nathan Soenksen; sister, Mary Fox; and brothers, Jimmy Desbiens and Steve Desbiens.

He is survived by his stepson, Henry Louis Gray Jr and wife Tammy of Livingston, Texas; stepdaughter, Kathrine Sprouse of Corsicana, Texas; daughter, Melissa Desbiens and husband Ronnie Flemons of Paducah, Texas; grandchildren, Lindsey Fields, Joey Winchester, Allison Flemons, Vinson Gray, Christopher Soenksen, and Kaitlynn Soenksen; brother, R.G. Stoltz and wife Tammy of San Antonio, Texas; and sisters, Fran Carter and husband Vernon of Odessa, Texas, and Glenda Desbiens of Sargent, Texas; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
