Obituary
Funeral services for Paul Edward Dickerson, 97, of Lubbock, Texas, formerly of Onalaska, Texas, will be held Thursday, August 27, 2015 at 10:30 .m. in the First Baptist Church in Onalaska, Texas with Bro. Don Wilkey officiating. Interment will begin at 3:00 p.m. in the Grandview Cemetery in Pasadena, Texas. Visitation will be held at 9:30 a.m. until service begins.
Paul E. Dickerson, 97, went home to be with The Lord on August 21, 2015 in Lubbock, Tx. He was a member of Indiana Ave. Baptist Church in Lubbock. He was born October 23, 1917 in Coshocton, Oh.
Paul worked for Shell Oil Refinery in Pasadena, Tx as an operator for over 30 years. He also worked full time as a painting contractor to support his love of hunting from Texas to Alaska. In 1984 Paul and his wife Jo moved to Onalaska, Tx on Lake Livingston where they lived until 2011, at which time they moved to Lubbock, Tx to be near their daughter, Debbie Jo.
Paul is survived by Jo Napier Dickerson, his wife of 69 years; sister-in-law, Kathleen Pitts; daughter, Debbie Jo Farmer and husband Pat; grandchildren, Kim Jeffreys and husband Dave, Sara Bradshaw and husband John; great-grandchildren Caleb, Colt and Paxon Jeffreys.
