Services for Peggy Jo Clayton, 80, of Livingston, Texas will be held at 10:30 a.m., Saturday, March 11, 2023 at Peebles Cemetery in Livingston. Visitation will be held from 9:00-10:00 a.m., Saturday the 11th at the Cochran Funeral Home Chapel, prior to service.

Peggy was born October 1, 1942, in Millington, Tennessee and passed away March 7, 2023 in Livingston. She is preceded by her parents, Arley Maxey and Clara (Montgomery) Maxey; son, Terry Clayton; 3 brothers; and 3 sisters.

She is survived by her loving husband, Ernest J. Clayton, Sr.; sons Ernest Clayton, Jr. wife Linda,  and Scott Clayton and wife Kristie, all of Livingston, Texas; 6 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; and 1 great-great grandchild; as well as several other loved ones and friends.
