Obituary
Peggy Durham 75 of Livingston passed away Sunday November 9, 2008 in Lufkin. Memorial services will be 2:00PM Thursday November 13, 2008 in the Cochran Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. James Frazier and Rev. Don Willis officiating. Visitation will be Wednesday November 12, 2008 from 6:00PM until 8:00PM also in the Cochran Funeral Home Chapel.
Peggy was born June 12, 1933 in White Deer, Texas to parents Tommie D. and Flossie Mae Redding Holmes. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Livingston.
She is preceded in death by her parents, brother Johnny Doyle Holmes, sisters Bobbie Creek and Patsy Fullerton and her granddaughter Michelle Amburn.
Peggy is survived by her husband Claude Durham of Livingston, daughters Debbie Amburn and husband Steve of Henderson, and Susan Wansley and husband Jimmy of Manor, grandson Michael Amburn of Rome, Ga., and granddaughter Melody Wansley of Manor. Her sisters Jean Bevers of Ramana, CA., and Mary Joan Dawkins of Santa Fe, NM also survive her.
In lieu of flowers the family has ask that you make donations to the Texas Lions Club Foundation at 6005 99th Street, Lubbock Texas 79424.
