Graveside services for Peggy Marie Hughen, 70, of Porter, Texas, will be held Tuesday, August 31, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. in the Peebles Cemetery in Livingston, Texas with Rev. Harold Isaacs officiating. Visitation will be held Monday, August 30, 2021, from 5:00 - 8:00 p.m., in the Cochran Funeral Home in Livingston, Texas.

Peggy was born September 29, 1950 in Houston, Texas, to parents, Oscar Damon and Effie (Rankin) Damon, and passed away August 23, 2021 in Kingwood, Texas. She is preceded in death by her parents; son, Randy Hughen; and brother, James Damon.

She is survived by her daughter, Theresa Clifton of Buna, Texas; son and daughter-in-law, Sammy Hughen Jr. and Nichol of Livingston, Texas; daughter-in-law, Sheila Hughen of Anahuac, Texas; grandchildren, Justin Jordan, and Kory O'Bannon and wife Alyssa; great grandson, Kooper O'Bannon; sister and brother-in-law, Betty and Larry Swan of Hockley, Texas; sister-in-law, Gloria Damon; longtime companion, Richard Kurzhal; and bonus son, Richie Kurzhal; along with numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
