At their Wilson Lake home, she was tireless in community help, caring for her many animal pets, working her yard and keeping up her always productive summer garden.
The year 1999, began a battle for good health as Peggy struggled valiantly against cancer, COPD, congestive heart failure and leukemia.
To her lifelong friend at The Lake, and to those many from afar. To her 40 year, dear close neighbors in the lake community.....You became her rocks, her bridges. You became her eyes and her ears. You became her chauffeurs and her maintenance miracle workers...You became our family members. Thank you, so much, for caring and loving our Peggy, as we know how much she loved all of you.
In place of flowers, please make donations to M. D. Anderson Cancer Center, Houston, Texas.
