Funeral services for Peggy Ann Truett, 75, of Livingston, Texas, will be held Tuesday, March 10, 2015 at 3:00 p.m. in the Cochran Funeral Home Chapel in Livingston, Texas with Rev. Wayne Landrum officiating. Interment will follow in the Bluff Creek Cemetery in Livingston, Texas. Visitation will be held Tuesday, March 10, 2015 beginning at 2:00 p.m. until service begins in the Cochran Funeral Home Chapel in Livingston, Texas.
Mrs. Truett was born April 7, 1939 in Manny, Louisiana to parents, William Thomas Small and Minnie Ola (Chandler) Small, and passed away on March 8, 2015 in Livingston, Texas. During her life, she worked for the Nabisco Bakery for over 20 years. She is remembered by family and friends as a good Christian lady who never met a stranger. She is preceded in death by her parents; sister, Marie David; brother, Charles Small; husband, George Truett; and grandson, Jim Tipton.
She is survived by her daughters, Georgia Crawford and Lynn of Livingston, Texas, Diane Tipton and James of Livingston, Texas, Patricia Powers of Evadale, Texas; grandchildren, Randee Crawford, Savannah Crawford, Daisha Tipton, Tonja Lewis and Randy, Jamie Powers, Tricia Vinson and Jimbo; great-grandchildren, Tessah Tipton, Jonathan Maldanado, Chase Lewis, Casey Lewis, Caleb Lewis, Chrislynn Powers, Addie Powers, Lane Vinson and Kadin Vinson; along with numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
