Services for Charles Vernon "Petey" Thomas, 59, of Livingston, Texas will be held Friday, September 1, 2023, at 10:00 a.m., at First Baptist Church in Livingston, Texas and will be officiated by Bro. Kevan Wood. Interment will follow at Oakdale Cemetery in Livingston, Texas. Visitation will be held Thursday, August 31, 2023, from 5:00-7:00 p.m., at First Baptist Church in Livingston, Texas.

Petey was born December 5, 1963 in Livingston, Texas and passed away August 29, 2023 in Livingston, Texas. He is preceded in death by his parents, Charles V. Thomas and Doris (Corsale) Thomas; and sisters, Shelley Baxley, Christy Taylor, and Kerrey Reeder.

He is survived by his loving wife, Michele Thomas; sons, Stacey Keith Thomas and wife Hannah, and Cullen Thomas and wife Makenzie; grandchildren, Ty Thomas, Tenley Thomas, Briar Thomas, and Mesa Thomas; and sister, Marcey Nelson and husband Ricky; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Pallbearers: Stacey Thomas, Cullen Thomas, Ty Thomas, Keith Foxworth, Robert Hodges and Ricky Nelson.
