Memorial services for Philip Joseph Conrad Loret, 73, loving husband, father, and grandfather, will be held Wednesday, January 19, 2022, at 2:00 p.m. in the Cochran Funeral Home Chapel in Livingston, Texas with Pastor Chris Knox officiating.

Philip was born October 22, 1948 in Baton Rouge, Louisiana to parents, Joseph Arthur Loret and Catherine Percy, and passed away January 12, 2022 in Livingston, Texas. He is preceded in death by his parents; wife, Madel Loret; and brother, Robert Percy. During his life, Philip was known for his quick wit and pride in being a wordsmith. A charismatic man who was loyal to his friends and family and would give you the shirt off his back.

He is survived by his wife of 17 years, Mindi Loret of Livingston, Texas; daughter, Michelle Loret and husband, Kevin of Houston, Texas; son and Navy veteran, Philip Thomas Loret and wife, Marriot of Rock Hill, South Carolina; step-son, Damien Metrailer of Baton Rouge, Louisiana; granddaughters, Kyndall Loret and Catherine Loret; sisters, Yolanda Loret and Isabelle Loret both of Baton Rouge, Louisiana; nieces and nephews, Loret Fremin and husband, Francis, Brian Wilson and wife, Allyson, Conrad Wilson and wife, Dara, and Michael Thomas McAndrews; along with special friends, Bobbie Favaron and wife, Glenn; and numerous other relatives and a host of friends.
