Funeral services for Phillip Eugene Darce age 50 of Shepherd, Texas will be held Sunday May 1, 2011 at 2:00 PM at the Cherry Grove Baptist Church in Mittie, Louisiana with Rev. J.R. Dowden and Rev. Ron Butler officiating and interment to follow in the Simmons Cemetery in Mittie, Louisiana. Visitation will be held Friday night at Cochran Funeral Home in Livingston from 3:00 PM till 10:00 PM and visitation Saturday night at the Cherry Grove Baptist Church. Pallbearers will be Jermey Darce, Ivor Fontenot, John Rudisill, Dusty Darce, Roy Greer and Bo Marler.

He was born December 28, 1960 in Kinder, Louisiana the son of Alphonse Joseph Darce and Catherine Jane Cowgill Darce and passed away April 28, 2011 in Shepherd, Texas. He is preceded in death by his parents and his grandparents, Emily Smith, Carl Smith and Ambrose & Regena Darce.

He is survived by Katherine Skinner, sister of Shepherd, Texas, Emily Fontenot, sister of Hineston, Louisiana, Ruth & Penny Singleton, sister and brother in law of Mittie, Louisiana, Theresa Stermer, sister of DeRidder, Louisiana, Donna & Lenox Laird, sister and brother in law of Mittie, Louisiana, Mitzi & David Gormanous, sister and brother in law of DeRidder, Louisiana, Shelly & Paul Fustier, sister and brother in law of DeRidder, Louisiana, Joey & Eva Darce, brother and sister in law of DeRidder, Louisiana, Andy & Karen Martin, brother and sister in law of DeRidder, Louisiana, Mae Moore, aunt of DeRidder, Louisiana, Elaine Picard, aunt of Mittie, Louisiana and numerous, nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews and many, many friends also survive.
