Graveside services for Phyllis Mae Stutts, 82, of Goodrich, Texas, will be held Thursday, April 30, 2020 at 10:00 a.m. in the Magnolia Cemetery in Onalaska, Texas with Bro. Dennis Hodge officiating. Visitation will be held from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m., on Wednesday, April 29, 2020 in the Cochran Funeral Home in Livingston, Texas.
Mrs. Stutts was born June 6, 1937 in Clarksville, Missouri to parents, Earl Thomas Kirsch and Edith (Synder) Kirsch, and passed away April 24, 2020 in Lufkin, Texas. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Billy Isaac Stutts; and great-granddaughter, Sierra McCoy.
She is survived by her son, Billy Stutts and wife, Emma of Goodrich, Texas; daughter, Harriett Hales of Livingston, Texas; grandchildren, Jay Hales II. and wife, Danielle, Amanda McCoy, Jacinda Lewis and husband, Billy, Carrie Gibbs, Brian Burks and wife, Amanda, and Jay "JJ" Burks Jr. and wife, Cheyenne; 26 great-grandchildren; sisters, Joan Strong of Greenville, Texas, and Kathy Key and husband, Gene of Livingston, Texas; and brother, David Kirsch and wife, Helen of Fort Edwards, New York; along with numerous other relatives and friends.
