Funeral services for Posey Wathine Evans, 95, of Livingston, Texas, will be held Wednesday, July 3, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. in the Cochran Funeral Home Chapel in Livingston, Texas with Bro. Robert Smith and Bro. Don Goodwin officiating. Interment will follow in the Midway Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, July 2, 2019, in the Cochran Funeral Home in Livingston, Texas.

Mrs. Evans was born May 23, 1924 in Fisher County, Texas, to parents, Wallace T. Gilliam and Cora (Keith) Gilliam, and passed away June 30, 2019 in Livingston, Texas. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Earnest Ray Evans; sister, Mickey Placker; brothers, Paul, Lloyd, Clifford, Truitt, Doyle, Dennis, Wayne, and W.C.; grandchildren, David Scott Evans, Sarah Lyn Evans, Kevin Evans, and Richard Evans; and granddaughter-in-law, Julie Smith.

She is survived by her daughter, Loye Krogedal and husband, Les; son, Benny Evans and wife, Patsy; daughter, Belvia Smith and husband, Robert; son, Glen Evans and wife, Gail; son, Elton Evans and wife, Ava; son, Darwon Evans and wife, Brenda; brother, T.C. Gilliam and wife, Linda; grandchildren, Chris and Nga Krogedal, Leesa and Bryan Baskin, Waylon and Beth Evans, Christy and Kevin Kaleh, Steven and Krystina Evans, Wesley and Dawna Smith, Jared Smith, Nathan and Shana Smith, Curtis and Caylee Evans, Rusty Evans, Loretta Lilley, and Andy and Ashley Evans; great-grandchildren, Michelle, Max, Zachary, Justin, Caylyn, Jonathan, Julia, Collin, Corynn, Marin, Adalyn, Coralee, Alexandra, Cole, Ethan, Caleb, Morgan, Hailey, Cord, Allie, and Ace; and great-great-grandchildren, Grant Lee, Ty, Sadie, and Wyatt; along with numerous other relatives, and friends.
