Funeral services for Preston Eugene Haynes, 81, of Livingston, Texas, will be held Thursday, June 10, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. in Cochran Funeral Home Chapel in Livingston, Texas with Rev. Harold Isaacs officiating. Military honors will be provided by VFW Post #8568. Interment will follow in the Peebles Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 5:00 - 7:00 p.m., Wednesday, June 9, 2021 in the Cochran Funeral Home in Livingston, Texas.

Mr. Haynes was born August 26, 1939 in Livingston, Texas to parents, Joshua T. Haynes and Lois (McCaghren) Haynes and passed away June 5, 2021 in Livingston, Texas. During his life, Mr. Haynes proudly served his country in the United States Army. He is preceded in death by his parents; and granddaughter, Tonya James.

He is survived by his wife, Bobbie Haynes of Livingston; daughters, Tammie Smith and husband, Leonard of Livingston, Sandra Kirkbright and husband, Simon of Stafford, England; son, Ronnie Haynes and wife, Mary of Carthage; grandsons, Brandon James and wife, Cassie, Joshua Haynes, Forrest Greywolf, and Leonard Smith Jr.; granddaughters, Magen Kirk, Tiffany Noak and husband, Eric, Harmony Phoenix, and Desarae Carpio and husband, Jose; great-granddaughters, Makenzie James and Mia James; numerous other great-grandchildren; sister, Melba Hand and husband, Doug; and niece, Vickie Rice and husband, Mark; along with numerous other family members, and a host of friends.
