Funeral services for Ramiro Angel Zarate, 65, of Livingston, Texas, will be held Saturday, August 20, 2022, at 2:00 p.m., in the Cochran Funeral Home Chapel in Livingston, Texas with Rev. Joel McMahon officiating. Interment will follow in the Forest Hill Cemetery in Livingston, Texas. Visitation will be held Friday, August 19, 2022, from 5:00 - 7:00 p.m., in the Cochran Funeral Home in Livingston, Texas.

Ramiro Angel Zarate was born August 29, 1956 in Monterey, Mexico and passed away August 11, 2022 in Livingston, Texas. He is preceded in death by his parents, Ramiro Zarate and Alicia (Flores) Zarate; and brother, Jose Louis Flores.

Ramiro is survived by his wife, Vicki Lynn (Barrone) Zarate of Livingston, Texas; daughter and son-in-law, Catherine Watkins and Christopher of Houston, Texas; son, Benjamin Zarate, also of Houston, Texas; grandsons, Declan Zarate, Silas Zarate and Henry Watkins; sisters, Emilia Flores of Nuevo Laredo, Mexico, Maria Luisa Flores of Mexico City, Mexico and Noemi Zarate of Ensenada, Mexico; along with many other relatives and friends.
