Graveside services for Ray Holland, 59, of Onalaska, Texas, will be held Tuesday, October 3, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. in the Carlisle Cemetery in Carlisle, Texas with Bishop Steven Crockett officiating.

Ray was born December 28, 1957 in Mesa, Arizona to parents, William Howard Holland and Ola Dorene (Stotts) Holland, and passed away October 1, 2017 in Onalaska, Texas. During his life, he was known as Butch to his family and friends. He worked off shore his whole life. He loved boats, fishing, and being around the water. He is preceded in death by his father; sister, Sheryl Whitworth; and brother, Billy Lee Holland.

He is survived by his mother and step-father, Ola Lee and Tommy of Onalaska, Texas; daughters, Kimberly Holland and Dana Mendoza both of Liberty, North Carolina; sister, Gwen Fitzgerald and Pat of Broaddus, Texas; brother, Earl E. Holland of San Diego, California; sister, Renae Lightfoot and Bill of Onalaska, Texas; granddaughter, Ariah Holland of Paris, Texas; grandsons, Cylas Williams and Logan Williams both of Liberty, North Carolina; and granddaughters, Juliann Reed and Christian Reed both of Liberty, North Carolina; along with numerous other relatives and friends.
