Funeral services for Ray Lee Miller, age 71, of Shepherd, Texas, will be Thursday February 3, 2011 at 11:00 AM in the chapel of Cochran Funeral Home in Livingston, Texas with Rev. Robert Brown officiating. Pallbearers will be Cecil Miller, Roger Miller, Kevin Watkins, Chris Dickey, Jerry Bailey and Richard Whakola. Honorary Pallbearers will be Logan Miller and Rollie Tatum.
He was born June 20, 1939 in Bay City, Texas, the son of Fred Monroe Miller and Ruby Pauline Peterson Miller and passed away January 31, 2011 at his home in Shepherd. He is preceded in death his parents, 2 brothers and 1 sister.
He is survived by his wife Diane Miller, Mabel & Dean Merkel, sister & brother in law, Melvin Miller, brother, Cecil Miller & wife Debra, son and daughter in law, Ray L. Miller, Jr., & wife Vicki, son and daughter in law, Bobby Tatum & wife Renee, son and daughter in law, Billy Tatum & wife Julie, son and daughter in law, Allen Dickey Shepherd, son, numerous grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren also survive.
