Raymond Gottleib Fischer, age 82, of Livingston, Texas, passed away on March 23, 2013 in Livingston, Texas. He was born on July 18, 1930, in La Crosse, Wisconsin to parents, Gottleb and Mae J. Fischer. Mr. Fischer proudly served the United States in the Army in 1951 to 1953. On January 9, 1960, he married his love, Judy Carr.

Raymond is preceded in death by both of his parents; his sister, Mavis; his daughter, Jennifer; and his son, Richard. He is survived by his wife, Judy Fischer, of Livingston; daughter and son-in-law, Cindy and Randy Zincke, of Livingston; daughter and son-in-law, Ellen and John Amarante, of California; daughter and son-in-law, Sue and Lenny Boen, of California; daughter, Valerie Archamboult, of Minnesota; daughter, Beth Fischer, of Minnesota; son and daughter-in-law, Howard and Kim Fischer, of Tomball; son, Donald Fischer, of Nevada; son, Tony Fischer, of Minnesota; life long friends, Jim and Elaine Knox, of Houston. A host of nieces, nephews, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and other relatives and friends also, survive.

Memorial services will be held at 1:00 PM on Friday, April 5, 2013 at the American Legion Hall Post #629 in Camilla, Texas. Chaplain Ed Smith will be officiating the service.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to the American Legion Post #629 in Camilla, Texas.
