Reginald Gillespie, Jr., age 63 of Goodrich, Texas passed away on July 23, 2013 in Kingwood, Texas. Reginald was born on September 22, 1949 in Houston, Texas to parents, Reginald Gillespie, Sr. and Kathryn French.



Reginald is preceded in death by both of his parents; step-father, W.C. Spinks; sister, Barbara Chestnut; grandsons, Ethan Wayne Gillespie and Jason Wilkerson. He is survived by his wife, Barbara Gillespie of Goodrich, Texas; daughters and sons-in-law, Melissa and Jeremy McVey of Conroe, Texas, Cyndi and Benny Wilkerson of Goodrich, Texas, Cheryl and Roger Warden of Livingston, Texas, and Jerri Lynn and Johnny Burnett of Goodrich, Texas; sister, Elaine Pipes of Livingston, Texas; sister, Joan Spinks of Livingston, Texas; brother, John Spinks of Livingston, Texas; ten grandchildren; nineteen great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; numerous other relatives and friends.

Reginald will be escorted to his grave by pallbearers, Donavin McVey, Travis Spinks, Bradley Taylor, James Antley, Bobby Goins, John Spinks, Wayne Hall, and Waco Compton. Honorary pallbearers are Bobby Hall, Clay Yarbrough, Benny Wilkerson, and Robert Beaty.

A graveside service for Reginald Gillespie, Jr. will be held Sunday, July 28, 2013 at 1:00 PM, at Restland Memorial Park Cemetery in Livingston, Texas.

Visitation will be held Saturday, July 27, 2013, at 5:00 PM, at Cochran Funeral Home in Livingston, Texas.
