Funeral Services for Relius Edward ""Ed"" Certain, age 73, of Livingston, Texas will be held at 10:00 AM, Friday, October 14, 2011 in the Cochran Funeral Home Chapel in Livingston with Patrick Hitt officiating. Interment following in the Restland Memorial Park Cemetery in Livingston. Military Honors will be provided by the Fort Polk Honor Guard. Pallbearers are members of the Fort Polk Honor Guard. Honorary Pallbearers are grandsons.

He was born September 19,1938 in Oconee County, South Carolina to Relius L. Certain, Sr. and Nadine Glass Certain and passed away on October 10, 2011 in Livingston. He is preceded in death by his son, Relius E. Certain, Jr., sisters, Evelyn Certain and Estelle Abernathy, brother, James L. Certain, parents, Relius L. Certain, Sr. and Nadine Glass Certain, and nephew, David Certain.

""Ed"" is survived by his wife, Betty Certain, son and daughter-in-law, Edward J. Certain and Nancy Certain, son and daughter-in-law, Kirk D.
