Funeral services for Rennie Loyd Hance, 64, of Corrigan, Texas, will be held Friday, March 21, 2014 at 1:00 p.m. in the Cochran Funeral Home Chapel in Livingston, Texas with Bro. Charlie Hodge officiating. Interment will follow in the Camp Ruby Cemetery in Livingston, Texas. Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 20, 2014 beginning at 5:00 p.m. in Cochran Funeral Home in Livingston, Texas.
Mr. Hance was born November 17, 1949 in Livingston, Texas to parents, William Glenn Hance and Maggie Doris (Reeves) Hance, and passed away Wednesday, March 19, 2014 in Corrigan, Texas. He retired from Southern Pacific Railroad where he worked for 30 years. He was an avid hunter, fisher and a very hard worker. He loved his children and grandchildren very much. He is preceded in death by wife, Lenora Marie Hance, and special friend, Billy Barnett.
He is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Maston Rennie Hance and Tami of Groveton, Texas; son, Lendell Glenn Thompson of Groveton, Texas; son and daughter-in-law, Wendell Lynn Thompson and LeeAnn of Groveton, Texas; daughter and son-in-law, Jaime Marie Lambert and Robert of Corrigan, Texas; grandchildren, Dillon Hance, Mikala Hance, Trey Hance, Tristan Hance, Hunter Thompson, Gracie Thompson, Josh Crotts, Kolton Thompson, Bobby Thompson, Jacob Thompson, Justin Pate, Katelyn Pate, Abbigail Basham; great grandchildren, Cody Hance and Justin Crotts; brother and sister-in-law, Cecil and Sherry Hance; brother and sister-in-law, Ed and Patsy Hance; sister and brother-in-law, Honey and David Carrico; sister, Wanda Collum and Jimmy Clamond; sister, Sheila Smith and Ricky Winger; and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
