Memorial services for Retha Janell Barker, 73, of Livingston, Texas, will be held Saturday, October 10, 2026, at 11:00 a.m., at the Cochran Funeral Home Chapel in Livingston, Texas with Bro. Mike Loftin officiating. Visitation will be held Saturday, October 10, 2026, from 10:00 – 11:00 a.m., at the Cochran Funeral Home Chapel in Livingston, Texas.

Retha was born January 5, 1953, in Canfield, Arkansas, and passed away September 26, 2026, in Livingston, Texas. She is preceded in death by her parents, Marise Henry O’Daniel and Hazel Lucille (Brown) O’Daniel; and brothers, Buddy O’Daniel and Marise O’Daniel.

She is survived by her husband, James Barker of Livingston, Texas; daughter, Terrisa Knight of Eden, Texas; son, Danny Clark of San Angelo, Texas; grandchildren, Aaron Knight, Candace Littich and Fred, Shannon Bennett-Fernandez and Carlos; great grandchildren, Hagyen Littich, Aubrey Littich, Kolden Littich, and Haden Griffith; and sister, Beulah White of Dodge, Texas; along with numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
