Funeral services for Reuel Bentley Walters, 95, of Livingston, Texas, will be held Saturday, October 3, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. in the Cochran Funeral Home Chapel in Livingston, Texas with Rev. Joshua Carney, Rev. Gerald Morris, and Rev. Charles Harris officiating. Interment will follow in the Peebles Cemetery in Livingston, Texas. Visitation will be held Friday, October 2, 2020, from 5:00 - 9:00 p.m. in the Cochran Funeral Home.

Mr. Walters was born January 16, 1925 in Schwab City, Texas to parents, William Allen Walters and Ida Mae (Munson) Walters, and passed away September 28, 2020 in Goodrich, Texas. He proudly served his country in the United States Army. He is preceded in death by his parents; wife, Oleta Walters; sister, Inez Smith and husband John; sister, Zelda "Sally" Massey and husband Leveritt; brother, Hollis Walters and wife Helen; and brothers, Ralph Walters and Peyton Walters.

He is survived by his wife, Anna Walters of Livingston; daughter, Linda N. Reed of Livingston; son and daughter-in-law, Bentley R. and Kim Walters of Cleveland; daughter and son-in-law, Nelva and John Cain of Livingston; grandchildren, Peyton Reed, Rebecca Reed, David Reed and wife Jennifer, James Walters  , Brian Walters and wife Sabrina, and Grady Cain; seven great grandchildren; step daughters and sons-in-law, Diana and Siervo Beltron, Bobbie and Bo Bodine; step son and daughter-in-law, Buddy and Karen McBride; eleven step grandchildren; three great step grandchildren; sisters and brothers-in-law, Macell and Bill Millard, and Julia and Kenneth Krizak; and sister-in-law, Annie Walters; along with numerous other relatives and friends.
