Funeral services for Richard Lynn Green, 58, of Livingston, Texas, will be held Thursday, June 2, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. in the Cochran Funeral Home Chapel in Livingston, Texas with Bro. Byron Lyons officiating. Interment will follow in the Peebles Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m., until the service begins at 2:00 p.m. in the funeral home.

Richard was born March 17, 1964 in Channelview, Texas to parents, Wiley Richardson Green and Hazel Charlene (Averitt) Green, and passed away May 29, 2022 in Livingston, Texas. He is preceded in death by his father.

He is survived by his mother, Charlene Green; sons, Jerret Green and wife, Kyrie, and Joey Green and wife, Jessica; daughter, Emerald Lenderman and husband, Zach; brothers, Rodney Green and wife, Carol and Robert Green and wife, Chrystal; and grandchildren, Jacob Green, Lilly Green, Christian Green, Carson Green, and Calie Thornton; along with numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends.

Pallbearers: Jerret Green, Joey Green, Robert Green, Rodney Green, Justin Green, Zach Lenderman

Honorary Pallbearers: Jacob Green, Kayden Dawson, all past and present members of the Polk County Sheriff's Department and local law enforcement

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Richard's name to the St. Jude's Children's Research Center.
