A celebration of the life of Richard ""Rick"" Allen McCarty, 44, of Livingston will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 30, 2008, at Cochran Funeral Home in Onalaska, with Rev. Gary Wright officiating.

Rick was born Jan. 21, 1964 in Bay City to B.W. and Jeanette Mc Carty and went to be with his Lord and Savior on Aug. 16, 2008.

Rick is preceded in death by his brother, Gordon McCarty, and father, B.W. McCarty and his father-in-law and mother-in-law John and Rowene McNeill.

Rick is survived by his wife and best friend Denelle Quin McCarty, son Trent McCarty, daughter Tabitha, step-daughter Tonya, mother Jeanette McCarty, brother James McCarty and wife Melissa, and one grandson Kyle. Rick is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends.

Rick was a country boy at heart and loved ""God' country"" and he loved to fish. He was a man of prayer and the last five years was a testimony of the miracles of answered prayer. He was at the home he shared with Denelle at the lake when he went to be with the Lord. Rick loved and was loved by so many and he will be greatly missed by all.

Rick spent many years as a planner / scheduler for turnaround planning, a job which he loved and was extremely great at. His last position was as Site Manager over turnaround planning.
