Richard Chester Powers, 84, of Livingston, Texas was born October 7, 1936 in Yuba City, California to parents, Foster Shirley Powers and Caroline (Schnabel) Powers, and passed away July 20, 2021 in Livingston, Texas. He is preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Clarke Powers and Bill Powers; and great granddaughter, Faith Johnson.

Richard taught at T.S.T.I. in Harlingen, Texas for 17 Years.  He proudly served his country in the United States Air Force.

Mr. Powers is survived by wife, Senaida Powers of Livingston, Texas; daughter and son-in-law, Patricia Powers and Alvin Lewis of Livingston, Texas; son, Richard Powers Jr. of Onalaska, Texas; grandson and wife, Michael and Pam Johnson of San Angelo, Texas; grandson and wife, Jacob Johnson and Kayla Hardin of Ingleside, Texas; great-grandchildren, Crystal Johnson, Jacob Johnson Jr., Dylan Johnson, and Alexzander Johnson; along with other family and friends.
