Richard Dale Shults Jr., 10 of Livingston passed away Thursday January 8, 2009. Funeral services will be Saturday January 17, 2009 at 2:00PM in the First Baptist Church in Livingston, with Rev. Gregory Gerald and Tony Griffo officiating. Burial will follow in the Camp Ruby Cemetery.

Richard was born September 14, 1998 in Cleveland. He was in the 4th grade and loved soccer. Like most boys he loved fishing, video games and tractors. Richard strived to be just like his uncle Mike whom he adored.

He is survived by his mother and step father Shirley Jeanette Hoffer and Ronnie McCarty, brother Corbin McCarty and sister Carlye McCarty, grandfather Glenn Michael Hoffer, grandparents Rick and Rebecca Logan, and Fred and Linda Lancaster, and grandmother Mary Gamble. He is also survived by his uncle and aunt Michael and Jennifer Hoffer, aunts Tonya Lancaster, and Lois Peters, uncle Allen Gamble and cousins Christina Russman, Terri Russman, Brittany Russman, Dearian Hoffer, Ashley Peters, Summer Hoffer, Misty Mendoza, Matthew Mendoza, Destynie Peters.

Serving as pallbearers will be Michael Hoffer, Ronnie McCarty, Glenn Hoffer, Donald Dugan, Carle Wayne Murphy, and Richard Nisbit.
