Funeral services for Richard John Steele Jr., 72, of Livingston, Texas, will be held Saturday, May 11, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. in the Cochran Funeral Home Chapel in Livingston, Texas. Interment will follow at 2:00 p.m. in the Hardin Chapel Cemetery in Hardin, Texas. Visitation will be held Saturday, May 11, 2019 from 10:00 a.m. until the service begins at 11:00 a.m.

Mr. Steele was born March 24, 1947 in Kansas City, Missouri to parents, Richard John Steele Sr. and Dorothy (Brown) Steele, and passed away May 5, 2019 in Livingston, Texas. He is preceded in death by his father.

He is survived by his wife, Maribel Steele of Livingston, Texas; daughters, Tammy Steele and Angie Steele both of Dallas, Texas, and Stephanie Steele of Morris, Oklahoma; sons, Chris Steele of Dallas, Texas, Rick Steele of Olathe, Missouri, and Mark Steele of Letterkenny, Pennsylvania; mother, Dorothy Steele of Livingston, Texas; grandchildren, Tara, Noah, and Taylor; and brother, Randolph Steele of Houston, Texas; along with numerous other relatives and friends.
