Richard Earl
Williams Jr.
October 16, 1929 – January 2, 2022
Richard Earl Williams Jr. of Livingston TX passed away peacefully in his sleep the morning of January 2, 2022 at home.
He was a jack of all trades owning a construction company building homes from the ground up to buying and selling later in life. He loved reading up until he lost his vision.
He was a faithful and loving husband preceded in death by his wife, and love of his life, Ruth Armay Williams and an amazing father to their daughter Cheryl Armay Williams Phillips. He is also preceded in death by his grandson Myron Earl Williams, his sister Joyce Deaton and brother Bill Williams.
Aside from being survived in death by his daughter he also leaves behind his brother James Lewis Williams, his grandsons Tyron Frederick (and wife Vanessa) and Byron Caldwell, his great-grandchildren Chloe Russ and Tristan Morin as well as step grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren.
He touched the lives of many special people in his life including Patricia Shirley, Gary Harrell, and Thomas Jerrell. These were his family not by birth but by choice.
His favorite saying was "don't worry about what others think, you only have One Judge to answer to."
Private Memorial Service for family was held for him January 4, 2022 at 10am at Cochran Funeral Home
