Obit for Robert L. Myers
Funeral Service for Robert L. Myers, age 84 of Goodrich, Texas will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, May 12, 2012, at Cochran Funeral Home Chapel in Livingston, Texas. The services will be conducted by Bro. Kevan Wood. Internment will be held at Restland Memorial Park Cemetery in Livingston, Texas, following the chapel service. Pallbearers are: Jake Deike, Cory McCarty, Kyle McCarty, Davis Amend, Walker Amend, and David McCarty.
Robert (Bob) was born on November 19, 1927, in San Antonio, Texas, and passed away on May 8, 2012, in Lufkin, Texas. His parents, Sterling Walker Myers and Martha Elizabeth Culpepper Myers have preceded him in death. Bob is also preceded in death by three sisters and three brothers. He is survived by his wife, Shirley Myers of Goodrich, TX; four daughters and three sons-in-law, Penny and David McCarty of Houston, TX, Diane and Kevin Dyer of Porter, TX, Debbie & Gary Young of Anchorage, AK, Robin Amend of Albuquerque, NM; brother, B.G. Myers of Cold Spring, TX; sister, Mary Johnson of San Antonio, TX; eight grandchildren; five great grandchildren; sister-in-law, Marjorie Glover of Houston; brother-in-law, W.T. Smith; numerous nieces and nephews; numerous relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to First Baptist Church, Building Fund, 106 Colt Rd., Livingston, Texas 77351.
Visitation will begin at 5:00 P on May 11, 2012, at Cochran Funeral Home Chapel in Livingston, Texas.
