Obituary
Memorial services for Robert Elton Bentley, 61, of Livingston, Texas, will be held Friday, January 8, 2016 at 5:00 p.m. in the Family Faith Church located at 12350 Texas 150 in Coldspring, Texas with Pastor Ed Jennings and Pastor David Branson officiating. A final memorial service will be held in Emmett, Idaho officiated by Pastor Gary White.
Mr. Bentley was born in Emmett, Idaho on August 6, 1954, to parents, Keith Bentley and Mavis (Grothaus) Bentley, and passed away on January 1, 2016 in Livingston, Texas doing what he loved most, spending quality time around the campfire. During his life, he was a long time truck driver, a security guard, and a reserve officer for the Emmett, Idaho Sheriff Department. He loved his family and always had something to say. He loved to fish, hunt, cook, and sit on the front porch with his dogs. He is preceded in death by his parents; wife, Janette Kay Bentley; grandparents, Vera & Ralph Grothaus and Mary & Elton Bentley.
He is survived by his wife, Tina Marie Bentley of Livingston, Texas; daughters, Taunia Hunt & husband J.R of Emmett, Idaho, Ann Austin of Mountain Home, Idaho, Kristy Summers of Portland, Oregon, Jenny Boehm & husband Joseph of Livingston, Texas, Amanda Summers of Livingston, Texas, Debbie Summers & husband Miles Wylie of Livingston, Texas; step sons, Pat Austin of Boise, Idaho, and Bill Stout of Mesa, Arizona; grandchildren, Chris Leavitt & wife Shelby, Bonnie & husband Chris, Tasha & Husband Rob, Rachel & husband Korky, Shana, Jericho Skinner, Brennan Stout, John Stout, Brittany Austin, Angelica Summers, Soliel Summers, Orion Summers, Elijah Summers, Saumara Wylie, Daineal Summers-Colver, Kyleena Summers, Mateja Summers-Pereira, Kenneth Summers-Colver, & Joshua Summers; great-grandchildren, Harper, Rebecca, Victoria, Natalie, Sawyer, Jesse, Jacque, and one more on the way; brother, Lyle Bentley & wife Kim of Boise, Idaho; 2 surviving aunts, Pearl & Ethel, along with many cousins, other relatives and friends.
